Excel and Serve, a nonprofit dedicated to serving special education teachers and students. Please check out our website to find out a little bit about our mission and goals. We are an official 501 C3 non-profit, based in North Carolina. This is a student-led initiative; we have been operating for nearly a year, brainstorming and figuring out operations. However, we want to expand our team before piloting. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and strongly encourage individuals with disabilities, including neurodivergent, sensory, physical, or communication differences, to apply. We are committed to providing flexible participation and reasonable accommodations. Members with lived experience are welcome to take on additional roles by sharing feedback, offering ideas, and identifying ways we can better meet diverse needs. Their perspectives help us build systems that are not only supportive but thoughtfully designed with real experiences in mind. The goal of these roles is to collaborate and work together to help expand our impact and mission. Expected time commitment: minimum 2 hours monthly.
