We are committed to making every type of property damage "Like it never even happened!"You May Be a Great Fit If:You have previous handyman or construction experienceYou enjoy working in teamsYou are motivated to learn a new skillYou enjoy helping others in a time of needYou enjoy making a difference in your communityYou enjoy working outdoorsYou enjoy working with your handsIf any of this sounds like you, apply to start a career with SERVPRO today!Key Responsibilities:Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-upPosition Requirements:Valid driver's licenseWillingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.IICRC certification is a plus.Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies:Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.Each SERVPRO Franchise is Independently Owned and Operated.
