We are seeking a Construction Project Administrator to join our competent team.Job SummaryTo work directly with project teams from the setup of Construction projects through the completion and closeout of the job. Responsible for the support of project managers through the preparation, evaluation, tracking and management of contracts, agreements, insurances and monthly AIA invoicing and other work as required. Work is performed under general supervision of the Project Managers.Typical Functions:· Provide Contract Administration for contracts and work orders.· Preconstruction project set up and project organization· Prepare and track submittals and RFI’s· Set up AIA invoices or Time and Material invoices as required· Prepare client AIA invoices and/or T&M invoices and required invoice backup· Enter job budget in SAGE 300· Prepare subcontractor agreements as directed by project managers· Prepare and/or ensure all lien releases are completed and in order· Ensure subcontractor and vendors have proper insurances, bonds and required licensing · Review and prepare subcontractor pay requests· Order job site utilities and other jobsite requirements necessary· Prepare and coordinate client required backup documentation.· Facilitate timely payments to subcontractors, etc.· Maintain and organize detailed project filing system that includes contractual records and related documentation.· Monitor and/or maintain change orders and purchase orders· Perform additional related tasks as required.Knowledge, Skills, Education· Degree in Project Management or Business Administration or closely related field, preferred, but not required· At least three years’ experience in the construction field in a similar capacity· Thorough knowledge of Construction and professional service contracts, agreements and work orders· Professionalism· Thorough knowledge of job cost tracking and budgeting· SAGE 300 experience · Excel· Excellent written and verbal skills· Thorough understanding of basic accounting including accounts payableBenefits:· Competitive salary· Generous PTO· Holiday· 401K with matching· Health, Dental and Vision Insurance
