Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator Employer: Lowe’s Job Description: As a Forklift Operator at Lowe’s, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. You will ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods, supporting the overall operations of the warehouse and facilitating the timely replenishment of store inventory. Key Responsibilities: - Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse. - Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers. - Ensure the safe and secure handling of packages. - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation. - Perform regular maintenance checks on the forklift. - Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. - Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet productivity goals. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Valid forklift operator certification. - Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects. - Strong attention to detail and safety protocols. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
