*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and technical specifications. The successful candidate will utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to interpret blueprints and schematics, contributing to the production of high-quality equipment. Crate building, woodworking and sheet metal is highly desired.
*Responsibilities*
* Assemble mechanical parts and systems according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and production documents.
* Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify component dimensions.
* Interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately to ensure correct assembly procedures.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools safely and effectively.
* Conduct quality checks during assembly using shop math and measurement techniques to maintain high standards.
* Handle manual tasks including component fitting, soldering, machining, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve manufacturing processes.
* Assist in inventory management within the warehouse environment by handling parts and supplies efficiently.
* Follow safety guidelines related to mechanical assembly, machining, soldering, and handling of heavy or hazardous materials.
*Experience:*
* Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings.
* Crate building, carpentry, woodworking, sheet metal, etc.
* Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
* Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in assembly processes.
* Familiarity with shop math necessary for accurate measurements and calculations.
* Ability to operate manual hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, soldering, and mechanical assembly techniques.

Education:
* High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
* Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
