Position Details Role: Lead Maintenance Supervisor Location: Huntsville, AL 35801 Pay: $25/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM Start Date: May 15, 2026 Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance operations and lead the onsite maintenance team Complete and assign work orders efficiently and professionally Perform advanced maintenance tasks, including: HVAC troubleshooting and repairs (if certified) Electrical and plumbing diagnostics Appliance repair and replacement Carpentry, drywall, and general building upkeep Manage unit turns and ensure timely make-ready completion Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards Communicate effectively with property management and residents Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials Requirements Previous experience as a maintenance supervisor or lead tech preferred Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions Ability to lead a team and manage workflow efficiently Reliable, punctual, and highly organized Strong communication and customer service skills HVAC or EPA certification is a plus How to Apply If you're a skilled maintenance leader ready to take charge of a community's maintenance operations, BG Staffing would love to connect with you.
