Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Sit Down Forklift Operator with minimum of 2 years experience to join our warehouse team. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution, materials handling, and safety protocols to ensure efficient operations and maintain a safe work environment. Responsibilities Operate Sitdown forklift Pick orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate inventory handling Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper stacking and storage in designated areas Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including verifying shipments and documentation Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies during all operations Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals Requirements Proven experience operating sitdown forklifts 2+ years Warehouse distribution or materials handling experience preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control Knowledge of OSHA safety standards for warehouse operations Strong attention to detail for order picking and shipping & receiving tasks Valid certification for forklift operation is required; experience with order picker machines is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 56 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
