Job SummaryThe Support Staff role combines the responsibilities of a Busser and Food Runner, ensuring seamless service for all guests. This position supports the service team by delivering food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and assisting with guest requests. Success in this role requires teamwork, organization, and a positive attitude to deliver an exceptional guest experience.ResponsibilitiesFood & Beverage DeliveryPromptly deliver food and beverages to tables, ensuring accurate presentation and order completenessAnnounce dishes and beverages to guests upon deliveryFollow allergy procedures and communicate any special instructions to guests Table Maintenance Clear and reset tables within one minute, following restaurant specificationsRemove dirty dishes, glassware, silverware, and debris promptlyCrumb, wipe, and maintain table cleanliness throughout service Guest Support Greet guests warmly and anticipate their needsCommunicate guest requests or concerns to the appropriate team membersAssist with wrapping leftovers and ensure proper packaging Operational Support Maintain service areas with adequate stock of service suppliesTransport dirty dishes to dish areas and ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclablesComplete assigned side work and ensure all cleaning tasks are performed according to standards Qualifications Ability to learn table and position numbers within one week of hireStrong teamwork and communication skills to support the service team effectivelyPositive attitude and willingness to handle guest interactions professionally and courteouslyFlexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reachingAbility to move safely through all areas of the restaurant, including crowded or confined spaces General Qualifications: Adhere to company policies, including uniform and appearance standardsMaintain professionalism and act as a role model for FOH staffEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and employment regulations Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay with eligibility for overtimeEmployee discounts and other perksOpportunities for growth and professional development*This position is part of a Service Charge pay model and is compensated primarily through commission-based earnings from service charges on guest checks that are shared among certain front-of-the-house team members.
