Facilities Supervisor
Department: ManufacturingLocation: Redondo Beach Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 / yearDescriptionAs a Facilities Supervisor at Impulse, you will oversee daily facility operations and workplace projects across our offices, manufacturing, and support spaces. You will act as the primary point of contact for facility operations, ensuring buildings, grounds, workplace services, and core building systems are safe, functional, and operating effectively.You will manage facility requests, supervise assigned facilities staff, coordinate vendors and contractors, and lead facility improvements that enable efficient and reliable operations. This role partners closely with the Maintenance team, Engineering, Production, Security, and EHS to ensure a safe, functional, and scalable work environment.ResponsibilitiesEnsure facilities, grounds, and workplace services remain safe, functional, and well maintainedSupervise assigned facilities staff and prioritize daily work activitiesManage and prioritize facility work requests and ticket workflowsCoordinate vendors, contractors, and facility service providersSupport facility expansions, renovations, and infrastructure upgradesCoordinate office reconfigurations and workplace logisticsPartner with the Maintenance team to coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance activitiesCollaborate with Engineering, Production, Security, and EHS to support operational needs and facility readinessOwn workplace services, including janitorial services, waste removal, and life safety systems.Maintain facility documentation and project trackingSupport emergency facility response and after-hours needs as requiredMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate5+ years of facilities operations, facilities management, or related experiencePrevious experience leading or supervising personnelWorking knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systemsExperience managing vendors, contractors, and facility projectsStrong organizational and communication skillsExperience with CMMS, JIRA, or similar work management systemsPreferred Skills and Experience4+ years of demonstrated facilities experience in aerospace, manufacturing, laboratory, or other high-tech environmentsBachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldFamiliarity with cleanroom operations, ESD controls, and industrial safety practicesKnowledge of environmental compliance, hazardous materials, and HSE programsAdditional Information:Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
