We'll provide you with a chance to improve the lives of others while helping improve the lives of millions.Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (hours can vary)Location: Onsite (in person) in Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino, Fontana, Highland, Redlands, Moreno Valley, Riverside, Colton, and surrounding cities.Primary Responsibilities:Delivers high-quality patient care through face-to-face, telephone, and electronic contact for examination, treatment, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic tests or proceduresCollects and documents patient information, including vital signs, chief complaints, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen information, the status of extended care benefits, and other servicesAssists physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures as directedCoordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards, and policiesAssists with tasking, phone calls, and messages; documents all actions takenProper, concise, and complete EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments and proceduresPrepares and cleans patients' rooms and sets up instruments and equipment according to protocol while maintaining infection controlYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Completion of a Medical Assistant programBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or willing to obtain by date of hireExperience as a Medical AssistantDriver's License and access to reliable transportation to travel to client and/or patient sites within a designated areaPreferred Qualifications:Phlebotomy certification1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in Primary CareElectronic medical records (EMR) or EPIC experienceBilingual English and SpanishPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
