Software Engineer Intern

Pay Rate: BR / Bill Rate: BRTitle: Software QA Engineer InternThe Software QA Engineer Intern designs, implements, and tests system software for failure analysis and electrical fault detection equipment. As a member of the Electrical Fault Analysis (EFA) software team, you'll be responsible for software quality control and assurance including manual and automated testing.Duties and responsibilities• Find and file defects based on manual and automated testing, track bugs, and work with design/software engineering teams to resolve issues.• Automate test cases and manage test suites• Strategize regression, smoke, and alpha tests with QA team and write them into test case management software• Participate in system architecture, design and development for software features in EFA productsRequirements:• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and semiconductor design concepts: e.g. CMOS process, digital IC's• Understands software development lifecycle, knowledge of Agile is a plus• Essential understanding of software testing approaches• Strong C# or other OOP languages• Experience writing unit tests• Strong oral, written, and presentation communications skillsEducation• Currently seeking BS in CE, CS, or EE from an accredited college• Minimum 2 years of education in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering programEEO/AAPAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability.
