Estimator / Project Manager / Engineer
Job DescriptionPosition Summary8-hour shiftMonday to FridayIn person (Need to relocate before starting work)Key ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager/Engineer with a background in Plumbing and Mechanical systems who can successfully manage multiple projects, field teams, and client relationships from start to finish. Responsibilities include:Manage all phases of projects from pre-construction through closeout, including estimating, planning, execution, and final deliveryPerform project management functions required to secure and execute work, detailed estimates, written proposals, and client presentationsOversee contracts in full scope, including sales, estimating, procurement, scheduling, and project executionDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractorsSchedule and coordinate field labor, ensuring efficient manpower planning and proper installation sequencingReview drawings, specifications, and submittals to identify potential issues and proactively develop solutionsPrepare and Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders, including proposals, contracts, ensuring timely communication and proper documentationMonitor job progress through site visits, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedulesExcellent blueprint reading skills and understanding of construction documentsStrong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detailUnderstand and manage the financial aspects of each project, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and maintaining profitabilityTrack job costs, oversee billing, and ensure accurate and timely invoicingIdentify risks and implement strategies to prevent delays, cost overruns, or scope issuesNegotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and project successProvide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project status, challenges, and performanceSupport business development by maintaining client relationships and identifying new opportunitiesLead project closeout activities, including punch lists, final inspections, and turnover documentationSuccessful management of contracts, including sales, estimating, procurement, and executionScheduling of field labor and installation sequencingPrepare monthly billingsQualifications And Experience5+ years of experience in Plumbing and Mechanical (Required)2+ years of experience with Fast pipe and all Microsoft applications.
