Job DescriptionJob Title: Machine Learning EngineerLocation: Nashville, TN Remote Company: Local Infusion Role Overview: Build the intelligence layer of the platform, automating infusion care workflows using AI, automation, and real-time insights.Key Accountabilities Model Development: Build/deploy ML models for data detection, treatment delay prediction, risk triage, and friction scoring. AI Integration: Maintain LLM-powered workflows. Data Infrastructure: Build and maintain data pipelines. Model Monitoring: Define metrics, monitor performance, iterate for accuracy, manage training data/labeling/feedback loops. Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations for automation opportunities.Key Requirements 6+ years in ML engineering, data science, or applied AI (healthcare bonus). Proficient in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, LangChain, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL. Strong experience deploying models in production. Familiar with LLM integration, RAG, vector search (Pinecone, FAISS). Skilled in unstructured data: OCR, NLP, document understanding. Cloud (AWS preferred), Git, basic DevOps. Comfortable with product/ops collaboration. Preferred: Healthcare data experience (EMR/EHR, claims, HL7/FHIR) and patient/payer AI in regulated environments (HIPAA).Company Culture: Remote-first, respectful, upbeat team focused on mission-driven work.
