Safety Coordinator - EHS

Basic understanding of workplace safety practice • Strong Computer Knowledge. Must be able to work with applications and a PC without guidance. · Experience in assembly environment safety. (Ergonomics Considerations, etc.) · Able to confidently and comfortably speak in front of small teams · Inspections & Observation Perform safety and environmental inspections Perform safety audits and conduct safety training meetings Coordinate and conduct timely safety training/orientation of all employees Conduct safety and environmental training Coordinate monthly safety team meetings and plant safety inspections Demonstrating safety or environmental equipment Perform daily site safety inspections and inspect safety equipment Identify environmental and safety compliance issues Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company safety policy Perform periodic safety inspections and compliance audits Cleaning job-site safety inspections Interpret accident prevention programs, safety manuals and safety policies Preparing environmental and safety reports Submit safety and environmental reports Ensure compliance with all safety regulations Perform daily contractor safety audits Reviewing company safety programs for compliance Review all safety and environmental policies Conduct periodic facility safety audits Implement health and safety training programs
