This full-time role offers an exceptional opportunity to provide comprehensive neurological care in a collaborative environment, with a focus on outpatient services. Key Responsibilities: Provide outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans to adult patients. Collaborate closely with the neurosciences team, including neurointerventionalists and neurohospitalists, to ensure seamless patient care. Utilize stroke teleneurology services to support acute stroke management. Participate in patient follow-up and coordinate care for neuromuscular, rehabilitation, and balance disorders. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the electronic medical record system. Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school. Board certification or eligibility in Neurology. State medical licensure in Alabama or ability to obtain licensure. Prior experience in outpatient neurology practice preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills. Practice Details & Environment: Outpatient-only practice located on Southeastern Health’s campus, with no weekend, call, or holiday duties. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Single-location practice with minimal travel requirements.
