Sports Assistant NF-02.

DutiesSupports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program.Provides oversight of events and tournaments.Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities.Assistants with publicity of events and tournaments and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material.Performs other duties as assigned.RequirementsConditions of employmentDirect Deposit and Social Security Card is required.Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.A one-year probationary period may be required.Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.Must obtain and maintain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED within one year of employment.Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.Must be able to endure physical demands beyond normal requirements including prolonged standing and walking, and must be able to work in settings where exposure to moderate discomforts may exist.Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, to include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.Satisfactory completion of a physical exam is required.QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less).
