Tactical And Heavy Equipment MechanicRMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Tactical and Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Niland, California; San Diego, California; Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Poca, West Virginia. This position is contingent upon contract award.Roles And ResponsibilitiesMaintain tactical vehicles built by Oshkosh, AM General, Mack, International, and Freightliner manufacturersProvide support to the automotive and heavy truck equipmentUse specialized software to record maintenance actions, track time and document parts ordered and installedUnderstand and follow all safety, hazardous material, and facility access regulationsRequired Qualifications And ExperienceU.S. citizenValid U.S. driver's licensePossess Secret security clearance (Secret Clearance is not required for contractors working at the Poca, West Virginia facility)Five years' experience at an Intermediate-or depot-level military maintenance facility, OR have E6 E7 equivalent military experience maintaining Civil Engineering Support EquipmentPossess an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in diesel engines and at least ONE other Heavy Truck or Military Tactical Vehicle Wheeled Vehicle categories such as Drive Train; Brakes; Suspension & Steering; Electrical; Heating & A/C and Preventative Maintenance (ASE requirement can be waived with five years of experience as a Depot-Level Shop lead Mechanic or Supervisor)Commercial Driver's License preferredCompany OverviewRMGS, Inc. is a growing small business headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
