Senior Accountant

CV Resources has partnered with a growing construction company to find a Senior Accountant. This person will be the right hand to the Controller with tons of room for future growth potential under a wonderful mentor!This is a hands-on role focused on managing daily accounting operations and supporting accurate financial reporting in a growing company. The position plays a key role in month-end close, payroll processing, and tracking project profitability (job costing).Key Responsibilities:Support full month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processesPrepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reportsMaintain the general ledger and ensure data accuracyMonitor project/job costs, budgets, and profitabilityProcess payroll and ensure proper accounting allocationHelp improve accounting processes and internal controlsIdeal Candidate:4–8 years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAPExperience with month-end close and payroll (required)Detail-oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong Excel skillsBonus Experience:Construction or project-based accountingJob costing and work-in-progress (WIP) trackingExperience in a growing or startup companyBenefits:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
