Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job DescriptionA leading provider of filtration and separation solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support equipment maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician with experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting. Working under minimum supervision, the new hire will support operational efficiency by performing preventive maintenance and repairs while maintaining a safe work environment and minimizing production downtime.Salary: $25-27/hrLocation: Houston, TX 77066Type of Position: Temp-to-HireResponsibilities:Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.Perform emergency maintenance service on equipment during and outside of normal business hours.Detect, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues with production and facility equipment.Perform equipment repairs through service activities or replacement of parts.Monitor, adjust, calibrate, and test equipment to optimal specifications.Assist in installation and setup of new equipment.Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Comply with all procedures, rules and regulations.ommunicate regularly with department managers regarding issues impacting production.Perform routine facility maintenance.Perform all other duties as requested.Requirements:High School Diploma / GED requiredPrevious experience in Industrial MaintenanceAble to read technical manuals, schematics and blueprintsAbility and experience in the use of hand, power, pneumatic, measurement and material handling toolsLathe experience desiredProficient verbal and written communication skillsAbility to speak both English and Spanish preferred, read and write English requiredSingle and three phase electrical, plumbing and commercial HVAC experienceWork well in a team environment, attention to detail, good communication skillsAbility to work independently, properly assess and establish prioritiesMust have own transportation and demonstrated consistency in being on timeDue to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
