It requires attention to detail and a sense of responsibility. Additional training will be required but will be completed on the job.Minimum Qualifications• Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security License as required by the state of Alabama• Valid driver's license from state of residence• Must be at least 21 years old• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Duties and Responsibilities :Patrol & Surveillance • Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns• Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials• Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activityIncident Response & Reporting • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)Customer Service & Policy Enforcement • Assist visitors and employees professionally• Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols• Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)Supervisory ResponsibilitiesTeam Oversight & SupportGuide and support junior officersEnsure protocol and customer service standards are metAssist with scheduling and shift coveragePhysical Requirements (subject to change based on client-specific needs)• Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break• Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping• Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stoppingEducation & Experience :Minimum • High School Diploma or equivalent• 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security ExperiencePreferred •3+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience• 1+ years of verifiable Supervisory experienceNote: Responsibilities and requirements listed are not exhaustive.
