In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, high-performing systems that meet our customers' business needs, leveraging Altera's industry-leading product suite. You will play a key role in supporting healthcare organisations across North America, bringing deep technical expertise and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes through technology.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver expert-level hardware and system software technology to customers using standard procedures and best practicesProvide technical support throughout the implementation delivery process, including triaging and troubleshooting issues raised by clients and implementation teamsInstall and configure all software required for Altera solutionsDevelop comprehensive technical documentation to drive efficiency, support customer implementations and contribute to departmental educationTrain both clients and internal Altera staff in areas of technical expertiseLead interface and data conversion development and implementation using tools used by the teamBuild and maintain new toolsets to support evolving business and client needsApply expert-level knowledge of Altera data schema to deliver optimal solutionsProvide sales support services to assist in designing tailored solutions for clientsDevelop and refine procedures and policies to continuously improve service deliveryRequired QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline — or equivalent combination of training and work experience5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server and SQL scripting — this is a core requirement of the roleExperience with Paragon® or another Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is requiredExpert knowledge of enterprise-level hardware, including Clustering, SAN technology and complex networkingProficiency with Microsoft Windows Server environmentsExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or comparable cloud infrastructure7+ years of relevant work experience in a technical consulting or implementation roleNice to HaveExperience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and/or Power BIFamiliarity with AI tools to support coding, data validation or conversion workflowsWorking ArrangementsEST time zone preferredStandard North American work week, with flexibility based on assignment requirementsMay require occasional after-hours, on-call or weekend supportUp to 10% travel may be requiredCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $90,000 — $115,000 USD The salary range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position at the time of posting.
