About Generation HospitalityAs a new leader in hospitality, Generation Hospitality Group brings knowledge of marketing, sales, operations and revenue management.About The RoleThe Weekend Housekeeping Supervisor is a part-time, hourly leadership position within our Rooms department (housekeeping), responsible for overseeing weekend housekeeping operations and ensuring a consistently clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. This role requires previous housekeeping experience and is ideal for someone looking to grow into or continue in a supervisory capacity. You will lead the weekend housekeeping team on Saturdays and Sundays, supporting staff, monitoring room quality, and maintaining departmental standards. There is also the possibility of additional hours during the week working as a housekeeper when not scheduled in a supervisory role.What You'll DoOversee and coordinate housekeeping operations on Saturdays and Sundays for the 40 Rooms departmentAssign daily room and task schedules to housekeeping staff and ensure coverage for all required areasInspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and adherence to company standardsProvide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job support to housekeeping staff to ensure efficient, high-quality workAssist with hands-on cleaning duties as needed to support the team and maintain productivityMonitor supply levels, report shortages, and help maintain proper inventory of linens, cleaning products, and equipmentCommunicate effectively with front desk, maintenance, and management to address guest needs and resolve issues promptlyDocument and report any housekeeping, safety, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate partiesSupport training of new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and property standardsWork additional hours as a housekeeper when not scheduled as weekend supervisor, as business needs allowQualifications1+ year of housekeeping experience in hospitality, residential, or similar environmentsPrevious housekeeping experience required; prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferredAbility to work Saturdays and Sundays as the designated Housekeeping SupervisorWillingness and availability to work additional hours as a housekeeper when not supervising, based on operational needsStrong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfactionEffective communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenAbility to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks in a fast-paced environmentPhysical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periodsBasic problem-solving skills and the ability to address guest and staff concerns professionallyReliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
