Human Resources Director

A dynamic, global organization is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead U.S. HR operations. This role serves as the HR leader across business units, acting as both a strategic partner and a hands-on leader in a complex, matrixed environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR leader who thrives in growth, transformation, and multi-entity environments, and enjoys balancing strategy with execution.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of HR professionals (direct and indirect reports)Oversee all functional areas including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development, Compliance, and Facilities oversightTranslate global initiatives into effective U.S.-based executionServe as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, aligning HR strategies with business goalsDrive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development initiativesPartner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and global HR teamsChampion a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing cultureGuide leaders through change, organizational design, and ongoing transformationAct as a balanced advocate for both employees and the businessEnsure compliance with all U.S. employment laws and HR best practicesUtilize HR metrics and insights to drive decision-makingIdentify opportunities for process improvements, scalability, and integrationQualifications8+ years of progressive HR leadership experienceProven success in complex, matrixed, or multi-entity organizationsStrong background across full-spectrum HR (generalist + strategic leadership)Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholdersAbility to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in evolving environmentsStrong knowledge of U.S. employment law and complianceBachelor’s degree required; HR certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.) preferredPay: $150,000 - $165,000/year + BonusBenefits: Generous PTO & Holiday, Full Benefits, Competitive 401K, Flexible/Hybrid Schedules
