Our Kid City USA program has been created to encourage learning through play, hands-on activities, and small and large group discovery time and themes that reflect their interests. Kid City USA is seeking a dynamic and experienced School Counselor for our After-School Program. Our School Counselors are responsible assisting students ages 5-12 with getting them off the bus at the daycare, helping them with their homework, and creating a safe and fun learning environment! We are looking for a School Counselor to join our team! Responsibilities: Provide individualized instruction and guidance to students in our after-school program. Assist in the development of a curriculum that is appropriate for children ages K-8th grade. Ensure that all students are involved in all aspects of the school community and are provided with opportunities to be challenged intellectually, emotionally, and physically. Attend to student needs (e.g., academic, social, or vocational) Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding student needs, concerns, and expectations. Complete required trainings within 30 days of hire. Keep a positive attitude and create a safe, fun environment!
