Forensic Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Forensic Engineer at HUB Engineering, PLLC in Paramus, NJ. The forensic engineer will be responsible for conducting site inspections throughout New Jersey and New York City, conducting forensic analysis, conducting forensic engineering investigations, conducting failure analyses, and utilizing analytical skills in forming professional opinions and writing reports for legal cases. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable speaking to people one-on-one and in small groups. Must be comfortable testifying at depositions and trials in front of a jury. Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in Civil Engineering or closely related field Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineering (P.E.) license in New Jersey and/or New York Strong background in Structural Engineering or Construction Management Analytical Skills for problem-solving and investigation Experience in conducting forensic investigations, forensic analysis, forensic engineering, failure analysis, and expert witness services a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently HUB Engineering offers competitive compensation including medical, dental, and vision health benefits and 401(k) Savings Plan.
