Local CDL Class A Truck Driver

Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment across local routes May load and unload freight efficiently using manual transmission trucks, forklifts, or other equipment Deliver freight to various destinations with precision, adhering to route schedules and safety protocols Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Follow all safety procedures related to driving, cargo handling, and vehicle maintenance to promote a safe work environment Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL Class A license Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles and handling various types of trailers such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, or roll-off trucks Knowledge of route driving best practices for efficient delivery schedules Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual methods preferred Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving Experience with freight handling across different cargo types Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a difference!
