IQC Lead - Day/SwingTracy, CA 95376Job Function: Manufacturing Job Number: 414582Job DescriptionJohnson Service Group is seeking Quality Control Leads for the Manufacturing area at one of our clients focused on the data center solutions industry, designing, manufacturing, and delivering custom Server, Storage, and Networking Solutions for a contract position that may go full time based on performance. We are looking to fill Day and Swing Shift positions for a contract position that may go full time based on performance. This position will train in Fremont, CA but will be relocated at a later date. Must be willing to commute. This position is "hands-on" and results driven with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.Day Shift: 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. $26 per hourSwing Shift: 3:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. $27.50 per hourResponsibilities:Participating in shift start-up meetings with your department teamCommunicate current priorities and targets, any ongoing issues, process updates, expectations, quality goals and any additional relevant information pertaining to your departmentAttend daily recap production/shipping meeting when Supervisor is not presentDirect hourly employees and assigns and coordinates daily production activitiesDetermines and may develop methods and procedures to improve productivity and qualityAlways Utilize efficient and effective Flow process of WIPPrepare daily productivity reports.Evaluate issues and potential problems proactively in a timely mannerEnsure 5S housekeeping duties are assigned and completed dailyMaintain open communication with hourly reports regarding goals and accomplishmentsMonitor department KPI's for results and trendsDevelop contingencies and short-term processes as neededIdentify bottlenecks that affect area goals or standardsQualifications:Advanced understanding and adherence to manufacturing documentation (MPI)Skills to train employees in department MPI (Manufacturing Process Instruction) documentsAdvanced computer skills with beginning to intermediate skill level (knowledge) in excelWorks on assignments that are primarily complex in natureConsiderable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendationsDetermines methods and procedures on new assignmentsMust be able to effectively work within a team environmentMay lead and provide guidance to lower-level nonexempt associatesViewed as an expert in job assignments and related tasksPromote healthy working relationshipsGive and receive constructive feedbackPromote quality work coupled with a sense of urgencyPraise good work and communication skills and areas of improvementLead by example (Attendance, Attitude, Performance)JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
