divh2Resident Care Aide/h2pWe are looking for a Resident Care Aide to join our growing team!/ph3Benefits/h3ulliPTO/liliHealth and Dental Insurance/liliLife insurance/liliShort and Long Term Disability Insurance/liliHealth Care FSA/liliDependent Care FSA/liliPaid Holidays/Floating Holiday/liliPet Health Insurance Programs/liliEmployee Assistance Plans/liliRetirement Account Assistance/liliEmployee Appreciation Programs/li/ulh3Responsibilities:/h3ulliReport to the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse/liliProvide personal care services for residents in a professional, caring, and efficient manner and in accordance with state guidelines/liliDocument all care appropriately/liliReview and prepare shift change logs at the beginning and end of each shift, as well as orally summarize pertinent information for aides coming on duty/liliInform a licensed nurse of any changes in the residents condition or needs/liliAnswer emergency call system and respond appropriately/liliReport all incidents to a licensed nurse and in-coming staff/liliFollow proper procedures for the Self-Administered Medication Management system/liliAssess capabilities to determine needs for additional assistance/liliAssist with housekeeping duties, including resident laundry according to schedule or as needed./liliPerform dining room duties and assist with the serving of residents/liliAssist relatives, guests, and visitors, as needed/liliAssist with activities programs/liliMaintain a positive, professional calm, image, and environment/liliTake a team approach to performing duties/liliComplete all required annual in-service training/liliAdhere to all OSHA regulations and safety procedures when bending, lifting, and using equipment/li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliMust be currently certified as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide program./liliMust understand the physical and emotional needs of elders, enjoy working with them, show understanding and patience and perform duties required to enhance the residents environment and quality of life./li/ulpWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws./p/div
