What to ExpectAs a Software Engineer on the Autopilot Simulation team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the validation mechanisms that ensures Autopilot AI performs safely and reliably on the path to full vehicle autonomy. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Autopilot Software, Hardware, and Test Engineering, to drive comprehensive validation of new and existing features through sophisticated test scenario development.Your work will directly impact the quality and safety of Tesla's autonomous driving capabilities by creating scalable scenario authoring tools, advanced reporting systems, and robust automation frameworks. You will also contribute to the Simulation team's mission of delivering high reliability, scalability, and performance through rigorous testing methodologies.The Autopilot Simulation team's goal is to recreate real world experiences with exceptional fidelity, providing a comprehensive virtual proving ground for Autopilot.
