Operations & IT InternRiver Valley Community Bank - Yuba City, CARiver Valley Community Bank (RVCB) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations & IT Intern to support both our Operations and Technology teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in banking operations, enterprise systems, and IT support, with an emphasis on application management, system functionality, IT reporting, and technology-driven process improvement.What You’ll DoThis role provides broad exposure to both banking operations and IT systems, with an emphasis on developing technical and analytical skills.IT Systems & Application Support (Primary Focus)Assist with support and maintenance of internal banking applications and systemsSupport system testing, upgrades, and change management processesMonitor application performance and assist in identifying improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with departments to understand system usage and recommend improvementsSupport data integrity, security practices, and proper system utilizationOperations & ComplianceAssist with account documentation, imaging, and records organizationSupport account maintenance reviews for accuracy.Assist with procedure documentation and updatesProjects & Process ImprovementParticipate in operational and technology-related projectsAssist with workflow design, process mapping, and efficiency improvementsSupport KPI reporting and basic data analysisCollaborate across departments to enhance processes and system usageWhat We’re Looking ForCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related fieldStrong interest in technology, systems, and IT support within a business environmentAnalytical mindset with problem-solving abilityStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication and teamwork skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Exposure to AI and the ability to identify practical ways to apply itPreferred (not Required)Exposure to systems, databases, reporting tools, or basic technical concepts (e.g., SQL, integrations, applications)Interest in financial services or banking operationsWhat You’ll GainHands-on experience supporting enterprise banking applications and IT processesExposure to system administration, testing, and change managementReal-world experience in banking operations and regulatory complianceInvolvement in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiativesMentorship and insight into both Operations and IT career pathsWork EnvironmentIn-person, professional office setting in Marysville and Yuba City.Collaborative, team-oriented culture.Structured learning environment with hands-on experience.
