Clinical Psychiatrist Office Manager
Job Summary
Healing Pathways a premier psychiatric service provider in Sugar House is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of administrative processes, particularly in a healthcare setting. This role is essential in ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently, providing support to staff and clients alike. Experience in behavioral health, addiction counseling, or related fields is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Manage daily office operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Supervise administrative staff and coordinate their activities to enhance productivity.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Organize and oversee the scheduling of appointments for clients, including telehealth sessions.
Assist in the collection and management of research data related to behavioral health initiatives.
Facilitate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and external stakeholders.
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve workflow efficiency.
Support staff with training on office systems and software as needed.
Ensure that the office environment is welcoming and conducive to client care.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
Familiarity with addiction counseling practices and PTSD care is a plus.
Knowledge of psychiatric practices is also a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on interpersonal relations.
Proficient in data collection methods and research processes relevant to behavioral health.
Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
Experience working with children in a clinical or therapeutic environment is preferred.
Proficiency in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
