Electrical CAD Technician (Contract-to-Hire)Location: Fort Worth, TXPosition Overview:We are seeking an Electrical CAD Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, TX on a contract-to-hire basis. This role supports a team of detailers, designers, and engineers in delivering high-quality drafting and design solutions across a variety of projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and eager to grow within the engineering and design field.Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing new drawings and revising existing engineering drawings based on sketches, layouts, and design directionSupport the development and revision of permit and plot drawingsFollow company and client drafting standards and proceduresAdhere to discipline-specific drafting practicesContribute to drafting design and documentation efforts across multiple projectsUtilize standard drafting tools and detail programs to complete assigned tasksParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives related to drafting and detailing processesResearch project-related issues and recommend practical design solutionsCollaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in deliverablesPerform additional duties as assignedComply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsQualifications:Associate's Degree requiredCoursework in drafting technology or a specialized CAD certification requiredExperience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsSolid problem-solving and analytical abilitiesBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Demonstrated leadership potential and initiativeSelf-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow within the fieldAspen Technical StaffingCELEBRATING 25 YEARS~2001-2026~We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
