About the RoleWe are open to remote candidates but would prefer you to join us in Detroit, Pontiac, or Porto Alegre, Brazil. As a Full Stack Developer at Hello Innovation, you will create cutting-edge web solutions that disrupt industries and improve the lives of tens of millions every month. You will work with our modern tech stack, including React.js, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL, building dynamic, responsive applications that redefine user experiences.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.Develop full-stack web applications that are scalable, responsive, and user-centric.Ensure code quality and maintainability by implementing best practices, including thorough testing and code reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Monitor and maintain the web app, ensuring it is up-to-date and secure.Continuously learn and apply the latest technologies and best practices to keep our stack modern and efficient.QualificationsExpert knowledge in React.js and Next.js for engaging front-end experiences.Proficiency with Node.js, NestJS, and GraphQL for building scalable, robust back-end services and efficient data-fetching APIs.Strong CSS Modules skills to ensure modular and reusable code.Experience with Storybook and Radix to develop consistent, scalable UI components.Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript for robust web application development.Database expertise with PostgreSQL, including schema design for fast, reliable data access.Proficiency in unit and integration testing to ensure code reliability and robustness.Daily use of Git for version control, facilitating collaborative development.Experience with Docker for consistent development, testing, and production environments.5+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating the ability to deliver complex projects from conception to production.Compensation & PerksTop-of-market pay with a full benefits package including health, dental, and 401(k).
