Job Description CNC MachinistLocation: Romulus, MIType: Full-TimeSalary Range: Up to $30/hrAbout the OpportunityA growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates who can independently set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines while producing precision components to tight tolerances. The machinist will work with lathes and mills, perform offsets and adjustments, and ensure consistent part quality in a fast-paced production environment.This position offers the opportunity to join a stable, high-production environment where craftsmanship, accuracy, and continuous improvement are valued.What You'll Do ? Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills ? Perform tool changes, offsets, edits, and minor program adjustments ? Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions ? Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools ? Maintain machinery through routine upkeep and troubleshooting ? Support production goals through efficient workflow and problem-solving ? Ensure quality standards are met on every job ? Collaborate with leads and supervisors on process improvementsWhat You Bring ? 3+ years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both) ? Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions ? Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds/speeds, and precision measurement ? Experience performing edits and offsets on CNC programs ? Solid understanding of shop math and machining fundamentals ? Dependable work ethic and ability to work independently ?
