Technical Program Manager — Ads Ecosystem
The Ads organization drives revenue growth for Meta by building ads products for every business model and across multiple verticals. The TPM is responsible for leading and growing the TPM organization that drives the development of the core platforms, systems, and applications to support our advertisers and help grow Meta revenue. This role requires a deep understanding of advertising systems, advertisers, and AI/ML technologies. The right candidate will be a proven TPM leader, with a strong technical background, who has great communication skills both written and verbal, strong cross-organization collaborator, and a strong program management background. They will have demonstrated experience leading large projects across multiple software teams and an interest in being a very senior technical contributor focused on some of the largest and most complex work in the Ads Serving space. The candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment serving customers at massive scale, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.Technical Program Manager — Ads Ecosystem Responsibilities:Define and lead technical execution strategy for multiple product and platform areas.Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of your team.Work with engineering and product management leadership to define and revise the long-term strategy for the organization.Work with the broader organization to develop end-to-end program plans, influence teams to deliver against them, and keep the org and leadership informed on progress.Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.Work with teams to set milestones, communicate program statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks.Work with engineering to ensure the team’s work focuses on the highest priority partner team and customer needs.Work across many organizations to align plans, manage dependencies, drive execution and deliver broad solutions.Minimum Qualifications:B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience15+ years of software industry experience, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experienceProven communication skills both written and verbalStrong interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teamBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in growing organizations and developing a team cultureKnowledge of software development processes and ML and AI technologiesUnderstanding of best practices for both traditional and machine learned systemsAnalytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systemsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with using AI, ML, and Generative AI to build solutionsExperience with online Advertising technologies, applications, and systemsExperience in scaling large platform and system growthDemonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologiesAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
