We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Pricing Analyst based out of Woodland Hills, CA. This position will be staffed as full-time on-site. Teleworking is not available for this position. The position offers the 9/80 schedule.
What You'll Get to Do
The Staff Pricing Analyst will support the Mission Systems Navigation, Intelligence, & Connectivity division (NIC), reporting to the Business Unit Pricing & Estimating Manager. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Program Managers/Directors, Business Managers, Contracts Managers, Operations Managers, Capture Managers, and functional teams to provide support for major capture and proposal efforts.
Prioritize proposal activities and working on multiple tasks simultaneously
Develop, evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics
Perform competitive pricing analysis and support the program team during negotiations
Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction
Partner with Contracts, Business Development, and Finance organizations to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements
Create/administer pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization
Presenting pricing models to various levels of leadership
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree with 12 years of related price/cost experience, or Masters degree with 10 years of related price/cost experience.
Will consider 16 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
Working Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA and other Government procurement regulations as they pertain to bid/costing proposals
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, Macros, etc), PowerPoint, and Word
Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment
Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
US Citizenship required.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
Previous defense contracting and pricing experience
Experience with different proposal and contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M)
Proficiency in ProPricer
Strategic/Competitive pricing experience
Current, active DoW Secret security clearance
