Position SummaryThis position is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and repairs as assigned. This position reports directly to a Lead Mechanic.Position ResponsibilitiesPerforms maintenance and repairs in accordance with prescribed practices and proceduresMust have an A&P CertificateMust have great attention to detailCompletes required paperwork as directedMaintains clean shop and keeps organized as directed.The fleet includes: 8 x Cessna 172's, 2 x Piper Singles (Warrior & Arrow), 2 x Piper Twins (Aztec & Apache), 1 x Cessna 421, 2 x Robinson Helicopters (R-22 &R-66)Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting workplace hazardsEnsures compliance with all 14 CFR part 91/141 regulationsPosition Qualifications RequiredMust be able to read, write, understand, and speak EnglishPrevious Robinson Helicopter maintenance experience, R-66 preferredMust have knowledge of Federal Aviation RegulationsMust be able to work in confined spacesMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraftMust be able to pass a company background and drug testWork EnvironmentFlight-line and hangar at times in inclement weatherWorkaround chemicals, solvents, and paintsVali, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
