ControllerQuince & Co. | San Francisco, CAQuince & Co. is seeking an experienced and highly organized Controller to oversee the financial operations of our growing hospitality group, including Quince, Cotogna, Verjus, Officina, and Tusk Events. This role is responsible for leading the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions while partnering closely with ownership and operational leadership to support strategic decision-making and continued growth.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, operationally minded, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. Hospitality experience is strongly preferred, particularly within restaurant, events, or multi-unit operations.This is an onsite role, located at our office in San Francisco. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business entities and conceptsManage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processesPrepare and review financial statements, reporting packages, and cash flow forecastsLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesMaintain and improve accounting systems, internal controls, and operational proceduresOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and reconciliationsPartner with department leaders to analyze labor, food cost, beverage cost, and operational performanceEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax requirementsCoordinate with external accountants, auditors, banking partners, and vendorsSupport ownership and executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic reportingAssist with licensing, insurance, and regulatory compliance as neededMentor and manage accounting team members while helping build scalable systems for future growthQualifications5+ years of accounting or finance leadership experience, preferably in hospitality or restaurant operationsStrong understanding of multi-entity accounting and hospitality financial structuresExperience with restaurant accounting systems and POS integrations preferredProficiency in QuickBooks, Restaurant365 (R365), Excel, and related financial systemsStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills and a collaborative management styleBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredCPA designation is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) eligibilityDining discounts across Quince & Co. conceptsOpportunities for growth within a dynamic and evolving hospitality groupQuince & Co. is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and professional workplace.  More detail about Quince & Co. part of Quince & Co, please visit https://culinaryagents.com/entities/313912-Quince-%2526-Co-
