Junior Paralegal- Enforcement
JURISolutions is seeking a Junior Paralegal for a long-term opportunity with one of our government clients in Washington, DC.Junior Paralegals will be responsible for providing support in all phases of case preparation, including discovery, trial, and legal research. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.Responsibilities include:Prepare, organize, and summarize materials for discovery, motions, and trialReview documents for relevance, privilege, and accuracySummarize depositions, transcripts, and case-related materialsConduct comparisons and trend analysisMaintain and track case files, exhibits, and discovery documentsAssist with complex legal research and draft memoranda and correspondencePrepare spreadsheets, charts, and document compilationsConduct FOIA requestsSupport scheduling and recordkeeping processesProvide general administrative and case support as neededCandidates must have at least 2 years of recent Paralegal experience including at least 1 year of litigation experience. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and a Paralegal Certificate, if your degree is not in a related field, is required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and legal software such as LexisNexis and/or Westlaw.Applicants selected for employment will be subject to credit, criminal and background screening.
