Sponsorship Sales & Service: Corporate Sponsorship SalesSales Executive – Minor League Baseball - Kansas City MonarchsJob Title: Sales ExecutiveSummary: The Sales Executive is responsible for developing, managing and closing corporate sponsorships, group ticket sales, and full and partial season ticket sales for the Team. This person should be an outgoing, energetic and creative sales professional who is a clear self-starter with strong sales and relationship skills. This sales professional will be tasked with integrating signage, promotions, internet advertising, hospitality, tickets, marketing resources, and all other team assets to develop and sell innovative corporate marketing relationships and reports to the sales manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify and solicit new local and regional corporate partners for the organization.Develop customized sponsorship programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clientsIdentify sponsorship leadsMaintain corporate sales inventory (signage, print, radio, etc.)Identify and solicit new season ticket sales, group ticket sales and fundraisersDaily reporting of sales and goalsAssist with the development and implementation of in game promotionsImplement sponsorships during all 70 home gamesManage the implementation of all corporate contracts and ensure all sponsorships are completely fulfilledResponsible for creating and delivering proofs of performance to all corporate partnersProvide excellent customer service and hospitality to all clientsOther related duties as required.Responsible for creating new sales inventory.QUALIFICATIONS:Two plus years of sales experience in sportsExcellent, proven cold calling skillsHigh level of integrityStrong negotiating skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goalsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenTechnically proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access)Strong skills in PowerPoint and PhotoshopStrong analytical skillsStrong team work skills as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivateStrong time management and organizational skillsStrong presentation skillsAbility to handle multiple tasksBeing able to think outside the boxAbility to attend company eventsAbility to work in fast paced environmentAbility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends and holidaysOutcome:· Manage the corporate sales dollars· Manage the inventory of corporate sales (billboards, program, radio)· Proofs of performance· Sales PresentationsWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
