This team owns execution across assembly, integration, and test, managing detailed sequencing, resolving build challenges, and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure each aircraft meets schedule and readiness milestones.What You'll Do:Lead the execution of aircraft assembly and integration from initial planning through final deliveryServe as the technical and programmatic point of contact, managing coordination between engineering, manufacturing, systems, supply chain, and quality assurance teamsDevelop and maintain integrated program schedules, budgets, and risk registers to track progress and ensure milestones are metOversee the physical integration of structural, mechanical, and avionic systems into aircraft platformsEnsure configuration control, interface compatibility, and alignment with certification and customer requirementsIdentify and resolve technical and execution risks quickly and efficientlyCommunicate program status, risks, and recovery plans clearly to leadership and customersWhat You Need:Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in aircraft assembly, integration, or manufacturing engineering and 3+ years in a program or technical leadership roleStrong technical knowledge of aircraft structural assemblies, system installations, wiring, hydraulics, and flight systemsProven ability to manage program schedules, technical scope, and cross-functional resourcesExperience with program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheets, Jira) and standard office applicationsDemonstrated success in managing program schedules, technical scope, and cross-disciplinary teamsExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsExpertise in advanced manufacturing tools (CAD, PLM, MES)Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills to set direction and mentor a diverse engineering teamAbility to thrive in a dynamic, high-iteration environment, balancing big-picture program goals with hands-on, real-time build solutionsBonus Qualifications:NX ExperienceTeamcenter ExperienceSAP ExperiencePart 23 Certification ExperienceEVTOL BackgroundPlease note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $172,800 - $216,000.
