Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,890 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: State license required Certifications: RRT, BLS, CRT Must-Have: - First time travelers accepted - Every other weekend required - No call or float requirement Description: RRT or CRT will be accepted. BLS certification is required. The role requires 2 years of experience. Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 1900 to 0730. The responsibilities include providing respiratory services which encompass ventilator management, high flow therapy, BiPAP, aerosol treatments, and chest physical therapy. Key skills include adult critical care management, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Experience with various respiratory equipment is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and conduct pulmonary function testing. Two supervisor references are required for consideration. Candidates will undergo clinical review upon submittal. It is essential to complete all compliance requirements within the specified timeframes.
