Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Veterinary Assistant, located in Diamond Bar, CA. The Veterinary Assistant will support veterinarians in providing care and treatment for a variety of animal patients. Daily responsibilities include assisting in administering treatments, monitoring animal well-being, performing basic clinical tasks, maintaining clean and organized workspaces, and delivering excellent customer service to pet owners by communicating care instructions and answering inquiries. Emphasis on teamwork and dedication to patient care is vital for this role. Qualifications Animal Care and Pet Care skills, including handling and managing animals in a safe and compassionate mannerVeterinary Medicine knowledge or experience, with a focus on assisting in medical treatments and proceduresClient Education and Customer Service skills to provide clear communication and ensure client satisfactionStrong organizational abilities and attention to detail in maintaining a clean, safe environmentBachelor’s degree or certification in Veterinary Technology or a related field is a plusPrior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is highly desirableDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
