Position Overview Our client is seeking a skilled Machine Assembler to join their team and play a hands-on role in building high-precision machinery. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy assembling equipment, solving problems, and working with their hands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with backgrounds in mechanical trades—automotive, diesel, carpentry, fabrication, machinery repair, industrial maintenance, robotics assembly, or machine tool assembly—thrive in this position. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Assembly & Build Assemble machinery and mechanical components according to: Engineering drawings Blueprints Part lists Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics Use precision tools (torque wrenches, dial indicators, depth gauges, digital levels) to achieve tight tolerances. Production & Shop Floor Responsibilities Safely operate overhead cranes to move heavy components during assembly. Measure accurately in both imperial (inch) and metric units. Collaborate closely with supervisors and teammates to meet production deadlines. Maintain an organized, clean workspace in line with lean manufacturing principles. Follow all safety protocols and consistently use required PPE. Quality & Continuous Improvement Ensure all assembled machines meet high-quality and performance standards. Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes and tooling. Maintain proper documentation and follow structured workflows. Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of mechanical assembly experience OR 5 years of experience in machine tool parts, machinery maintenance, mechanical service, or related manufacturing roles. Ability to read and interpret: Blueprints Schematics Part lists Skilled with precision measuring tools and hand tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.Preferred Experience with electrical wiring assembly. Forklift license. Computer literacy for documentation and basic troubleshooting. Work Environment & Schedule 1st shift, standard daytime hours. On-site, hands-on manufacturing environment (no remote). High-quality, safety-focused production facility.
