Hi,Title- Service Now Software EngineerMinneapolis, Minnesota,Rate-$55/hrKey Responsibilities (Objectives of the role)Transform business requirements and user stories into ServiceNow technology solutionsDevelop and configure ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, and custom Service portal pages/widgets to support the BusinessProvide release and incident management support for the supported tools and servicesUnderstand and practice ServiceNow best practices to maintain system complianceDesign and implement feature and story solutions alongside other ServiceNow development and analyst team membersEngage with the Architect and team leads to produce high-level and /or detailed design of requirementsEnsure non-functional requirements are incorporated into solutions such as performance and availabilityConsistently deliver on story commitments for each sprintResolve production incidentsConceptualize technical solutions to make both large and small improvements to the employee and user experienceDevelop and execute test scripts for functional testing and execute them as part of any ServiceNow upgrade and releaseCoordinate testing with Optum Technology QA team, ServiceNow Product team members, and with end users when needed, due to enhancements and bug defect fixesCommunicate enhancements and changes by writing and publishing release notes and knowledge articlesServe as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders on the HR module within ServiceNow and IT topicsSupport the ongoing peak, and cyclical processes such as Manager Planning and Open Enrollment and enterprise initiatives, as neededInterface with stakeholders to proactively address issues and support the service deliveryGood Communication and Interpersonal skillsProvide training and change management support, as neededDrive process optimization, efficiencies and productivity using automationDrive high-quality execution across organizational linesWork within an agile development/delivery frameworkRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience5+ years of ServiceNow platform development experience2+ years of Experience in the Case Management, Employee Service Center Portal, HRSD and Virtual Agent modules of ServiceNow2+ years of experience with at least 1 scripting language such as JavaScript or AngularJS1+ years of experience working within an Agile-development frameworkHands-on experience developing applications in ServiceNow Service portal frameworkHands-on experience with AngularJS, Service Portal widgets and pagesAdvanced level experience with ServiceNow's primary toolset:Service portalBusiness rulesClient scriptsScript includesScript actions/eventsImport setsExport setsAsynchronous transformationScripted RESTDevelopment automationAutomated test frameworkThis role is not eligible for Visa SponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:Health Care Industry experienceFamiliarity with API testing using postmanSQL skills
