Accounting Specialist

Bonaventure Senior Living has an exciting job opening for an Accounting Specialist! Responsibilities This position will perform multifaceted accounting functions in a multi-company organization. This position will report to the Controller but will work closely with the entire accounting team. Must be proficient in accounting procedures and have a strong accounting knowledge base. Completion of account reconciliations Perform bank reconciliations Preparation and posting of general journal entries Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes Assist in payroll processing Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare month end and year end financials Miscellaneous and special projects as needed and assigned Qualifications: Strong communication skills with a strong attention to detail Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger of accounting principles Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work independently as well as with a team Proficiency with Microsoft Excel 10-key and typing skills Highly organized and sensitive to confidentiality Why Work for Bonaventure Senior Living?
