Operations Manager

Overview DescriptionLegacy Engineering, P.C., is a small, woman-owned civil engineering firm specializing in land development design, geotechnical services, construction materials testing and inspections along with surveying and consulting. We are headquartered in Fredericksburg, Virginia and proudly serve clients throughout the Commonwealth.We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions across three offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and administration, with the ability to manage office setups, handle asset tracking, and coordinate various business needs, events, and more. This role is essential for ensuring that all three office locations run smoothly and efficiently.Job Responsibilities IT & Equipment ManagementOrder and manage office equipment, including computers, software licenses, and other technology needs.Track and maintain inventory of IT assets, including vehicles, computers, and software licenses.Ensure all offices are set up with the necessary IT infrastructure and equipment.Administrative ManagementServe as the office manager for all three locations, ensuring that each location is fully operationalOversee office set up, addressing space planning, office supply needs and maintenance.Manage and track the company’s business licenses, including:SCCDPORSWaMAsset TrackingMaintain an up-to-date inventory of all company assets, including vehicles, computers, and software licenses.Ensure proper tracking, maintenance, and utilization of assets across the company.Office ManagementCoordinate office needs, including supplies, equipment, and facility management.Manage relationships with vendors for office services and supplies.Organize and manage company events, meetings, and team lunches.Ensure all logistics for events are properly handled, including catering, space, and necessary equipment.Any other tasks as assigned by the President or Leadership TeamQualificationsProven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role with IT and Administration experienceFamiliarity with asset management and tracking softwareExperience providing excellent customer serviceTeam player with great interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to lift and/or move 50+ pounds.Ability to sit for extended periods of time in an office environment.Ability to maintain a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.Attention to detail and quality, while adhering to all safety requirements.Effective verbal and written communication skills required.Use of company provided equipment and working knowledge of MS Office programs.Benefits7 Paid Holidays15 days of PTOComprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage including a no cost employee medical option.HSA and FSA plans availableEmployer paid Short Term, Long Term, Life and AD&D Insurance plans401k plan with up to 5% match.Continuing education and certifications provided.Some roles are eligible for our hybrid working programAnd many more great benefits including numerous sponsored company events!Legacy Engineering provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified employees and applicants for future and current employment and prohibit discrimination on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
