Title: VDI EngineerDuration: 12 month contract to hireLocation: Hybrid 3 days per week in Herndon, VADesired Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in VDI or infrastructure engineering4+ years with hands on Azure (VMs, networking, storage, identity)Hands on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & DesktopsStrong background in vulnerability management and remediationExperience with system hardening, patching, and endpoint securityJob Description:We are seeking a skilled VDI Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure across Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Citrix environments. This role is responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing virtual desktop solutions, with a strong emphasis on vulnerability management and system hardening.Compensation:$60-70/hourExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
