Your Role & Responsibility

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our growing team. As a BDE, you will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, assessing client specific needs, promoting, and selling Sealink International Inc. services, and maintaining sales goals and objectives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities.
Outside Sales - build your own book of business through cold calling, face-to-face meetings, networking, and closing new deals
Conduct sales pitches and presentations with nationwide customer accounts.
Develop and execute a business plan that will generate hyper revenue growth and exceed the sales quotas set by the company.
Have continuous engagement with your customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts.
Prospecting, calling, quoting, meeting, and following up with potential clients.
Cross selling and upselling to accounts, closing business with new products and routes.
Updating and maintaining CRM.
Providing quotes for current and prospective clients.
Responsible for securing and maintaining new business.
Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
Experience in sales is a strong asset.
Experience in Logistics, Profit and Loss, and FFWs (Freight Forwarders and Agents) in the North American markets.
Excellent communication skills, and able to effectively communicate internally and externally.
Sound organization, prioritization and decision-making skills
