Cashier Barista

This role involves greeting guests, helping them choose bread and pastries, and keeping the shop and coffee bar tidy. You'll be responsible for making specialty coffee drinks, such as lattes, pour-overs, and other beverages with care. This is a part-time position (3-5 days / 15-28 hours per week). Availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays is essential (please do not apply if you don't have those days available to work). We're looking for someone with : Experience working in as a coffee barista, making espresso drinks (1 year minimum) Availability Wednesday-Sunday *must be available on weekend mornings * (6:30am earliest / 4:30pm latest) A warm, friendly, and professional attitude Demonstrate clear communication, active listening Willingness to learn organizational skills and follow systems Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Motivated and able to work well both alone and alongside others Great communication skills Ability to focus and stay on task Strong work ethic, timeliness, and sense of urgency Attention to detail and cleanliness Commitment to a positive environment and work within a team Passion for food, cooking, nutrition, community, social justice Practice and demonstrate knowledge of food safety Current food handler certification required!
